A little more about us…

Beth Jensen~

“I originally came to the Hudson area over 20 years ago after graduating from UWRF and marrying my husband Scott who is originally from Hudson. I absolutely love this town and the entire area. It is so scenic and peaceful, and we have made wonderful friends over the years. We have been happy to raise our three boys, Andrew, Jack, and Ryan here. We spend a lot of time at baseball fields, on the water and in the woods! In my free time I enjoy my 2 chocolate labs, gardening, hiking, and crafting. Another thing I love to do when I’m not painting for Fresh Start is… paint! One of my favorite hobbies is painting and refreshing vintage furniture. I grew up refinishing furniture with my dad and we both enjoyed making something old and worn into a beautiful, restored furniture piece. These days I enjoy finding small furniture at thrift stores or online and updating it to fit into today’s home interiors. I find the same satisfaction when I am painting in someone’s home. Patching the dents and “life marks” on the walls and refreshing rooms with a new coat of paint is so rewarding to me. In both interior painting and when refinishing furniture, I feel a connection to my dad who I hope would be proud of the work I do.”
